Kent Britain - WA5VJB is unanimously appointed by the Board of Directors as the new Technical Committee Chairman for the Texas VHF-FM Society.

Kent brings a lifetime of VHF (and above) technical experience and a treasure trove of articles to the Society for the benefit of all amateur radio operators.

Vice-preident and principal officer Billy McDonald, AK5DX, has appointed Steve Brodie, K5ZYZ, as the Society's new State Frequency Coordinator.

Steve has a long history of working with repeaters and brings a fresh outside take on frequency coordination to the Society.

Recently in North Texas an issue arose where several Narrowband digital repeater systems lost their interim coordination.
