June 9,2012 Board of Directors Meeting:

The Board of Directors met at Hamcom

Directors present: Gerald Richmond - N5ZXJ, Frank Hormann - KM5I, Chuck Kenworthy - WB5FWI,

Louis Petit - WB5BMB, Michael Lay - N5PTN, Edward Le Blanc - KA9LAY, Royce Taylor - KA5OHJ (by conference call) ,

During the meeting the Board of Directors ask for nominations from the board for a new president to fill the vacant position after Andy Carstarphen, WY5V resigned as president and board memeber in March 2012. Director Kenworthy nominated Director Petit, it was seconded and motion passed.

Other business President Petit appointed Mark Stennett as the SFC/Coordination Committee Chair Person,

President Petit ask the Board to ratify the appointment, a motion was made and second, motion passed.

The board open nominations for elections in August at the Summer meeting.

Elects Three New Directors - There were openings for three director positions due to directors resignations in 2011. The following members were elected at the SAn Antonio meeting to fill the balance of the vacated positions for the 2011-2013 term: Louis Petit – WB5BMB, Michael Lay – N5PTN, Chuck Kenworthy - WB5FWI. Congratulations to our new directors !

We would like to welcome the new Board of Directors for 2012-2014. On August 4, 2012 in Austin, Texas at the Texas VHF-FM Society general membership meeting the follow directors were elected to the board to serve from August 2012 to August 2014.

The follow members are: Edward LeBlanc - KA9LAY, Rodger Williams - W5UOK, Don Kirchner - W5DK, Royce Taylor - KA5OHJ, Louis Bancook - K5UUT.

With the new board in place officers we elected for 2012-2013.
