You have received a postcard in the mail from the Texas VHF-FM Society! The date to the right of your name is when your society membership will expire.
The text to the right of your call sign is your initial RFProjector password which you will use to participate in this year's online vote.
You can access RFProjector at http://www.rfprojector.com/txvhffm using your call sign and generated password. Since this is the first time you will be logging in you will be required to change your password. You will be unable to perform any other action until you do so.
The Texas VHF-FM Society coordinators currently use an online database application named RFProjector to conduct their coordination duties and the program will soon be ready for trustees and members to join them. RFProjector will allow members of the society to interact directly with coordinators through the electronic submission of forms and applications, saving paper, time, and effort for all involved. Members will also be able to mange their personal details, status as a member, and participate in online member-only features such as this year's online voting.
After changing your password you will then be able to access the menu to the left, which currently has two options.
Select 'Account Settings' to change your account details.
Select
'Vote!' to cast your vote in the 2009 election. When you vote you
will be re-directed to an external server where the voting will take
place, and you must enter your newly created password. After logging
in you will be given a list of candidates to choose from. Check off
the ones you would like to vote for, and press the big 'Vote' button.
After you vote you will not be able to vote again, instead you will
see a list of your selected votes. All votes are final. After
completing your vote online you will not be allowed to vote again in
person during the summer meeting.
Members that are not
allowed to vote (e.g. Club or Vested members) still have access to
RFProjector but will not be permitted to log into the vote module,
and instead will be treated with an authentication failure message if
they attempt to do so.
Make sure your email is up to date in RFProjector so that you may be notified of changes in the system. You may also opt out of notifications by un-checking it in your email settings.
The Society will accept nominations for director positions to be voted on in July online and in August at the Summer Meeting in person. You may self nominate. Interested parties should send an email to secretary@txvhffm.org and include a 1 page biography with photo.
